Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd took advantage of this win and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. In her second fight, she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance during the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
