Alisyn Camerota
Alisyn Camerota - journalist, writer, host of CNN's "New Day" morning program, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected to the Westport Country Playhouse board. Camerota has been a journalist for over 30 years, was a reporter for news and events as well as international. She received the Emmy Award in her early career for covering the arrest of Roger Stone and the Edward R.Murrow Award when she broke the devastating news of the hurricane Maria. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford is now an honorary board member after being on the board since 7 years. Anna Czekaj Farber, who is currently the chair of the Westport board following her time as its chair since 2013, is an incoming board member. Czekaj Farber succeeds Barbara Streicker of Westport, who has been the chair of the board since October 2015, and continues to be a member of the board since. The Playhouse's trustees' board includes 26 members.
